What do you do if the Ardennen is a chilly two degrees above zero and you don't want to break the bank (and the environment) by flying to Spain for some rockclimbing? That's right, you join the WACO for a walk around the Veluwe!
It was a little bit cold and there was quite a bit of wind, but that didn't stop us from walking a nice 18 kilometers through forest, sand and fields. Even the sun came out during the middle of the day, warming us while we hiked through the sandy 'hills' of Gelderland.
May a terrific summer WACO program be yet to come!
