Indoor Lead climbing

Target audience
Do you already have some experience with toprope climbing and would you like to make the step to indoor lead climbing, and clear the way to climb outside? Then this course is what you are looking for. The indoor lead-climbing climbing proficiency certificate is also an entry requirement for the Outdoor Single Pitch course.

Entry Requirements

Have passed the Indoor Toprope (IT) exam
Being able to climb in the hall 5+ toprope without a block
Compulsory attendance at all course evenings

Content
The course consists of the following three parts:

Admission time
Three indoor lead-climbing course evenings
Indoor lead-climbing exam evening

With this course, you will learn step-by-step everything important for indoor lead-climbing. Topics discussed include belaying a climber, clipping sets, lead-climb traps and foot errors.

Period
The indoor lead-climbing course takes place twice per study year.

After the summer break in Q1
After the spring intro in Q4

Costs
The cost for this course will be 50 euros.
