Winter mountaineering

NSAC winter program
In the winter too, various winter courses are offered from the NSAC every year. This includes both ski and snowboard courses from beginners to advanced and from slopes to freeride and tours. For winter sports enthusiasts who do not want to follow a course but would like to be in the mountains, the NSAC always arranges a mountain hut especially for all SAC people. For those SACs who prefer points rather than slats, ice climbing courses are also organized every year. In short, there is something for everyone at the NSAC. More information about the NSAC winter program can be found here.

The WEBI
The Winter ESAC Base Camp Idea (WEBI) is thé winter sports holiday of the ESAC and is held every year in the week of carnival. The WEBI is a great alternative to the NSAC winter program especially for ESAC people. During the WEBI, a mountain hut / chalet in the Alps is transformed into a base for the winter sporting ESACer. The WEBI is accessible to every ESAC at every level. Are you a beginner who has never stood on slats or an experienced skier who wants to make a tour off piste, it's all possible.
