SEE RECIPE BELOW!

  1. The nuts obviously stand for the material that helps us achieve our goals. This references to our climbing material, but also to everything we use in our daily life. They remind us to stand still and think about every object we use. They remind us to appreciate what we have. Think of the plates we use to serve our food, keys that open doors to inspiring places, shoes that bring us to magnificent views, candles that light up our hearts and can openers that open the metal voids in our life.
  2. Then, onto the chocolate. We incorporated a significant amount of chocolate, because chocolate symbolizes the warmth that we share among ourselves. The rich relationships we form between each other and our surroundings. This warm love ignites our soul.
  3. Orange was used to also highlight the sour aspect that life. It is undeniable that there have been en will be hard times in your life. You must not deny and ignore those hardships, but embrace them with positivity. With a positive mindset, difficult times are easier to get through. This positivity is illustrated beautifully by the sweetness this orange also has. Hard times can make our lives better, once we get through.
  4. The forest berries are an obvious representation of our natural spirit. We seek forests. We seek the outdoors. We seek nature. Only when we are surrounded with greenery, we can find true meaning.
  5. Lastly, the rum. This references to our strong festive spirit. We must celebrate our achievements, our environment and the people around us.

So, I hope it has become clear to you why this cake is a meaningful nourishment that you should bake to discover life.

RECIPE: CHOCOLATENUTFORRESTBERRYORANGECAKE

Ingredients:

    • Smth greasy

    • 200g chocolate (go for the 70+ percent)

    • 350g nuts (hazelnuts x walnuts what we did)

    • 5 eggs (split)

    • 1 orang but only rasp (you’re free to enjoy the flesh yourself)

    • 75 ml rum

    • 200g brown caster sugar

    • Pinch a salt
      200 gram more chocolate (pure)
      200 gram cream

The making of:

Preheat the oven to a mighty 170 degrees Celsius and make your springformpan nice and greasy.

Chop immensely finely the chocolate and nuts. Using a machine is recommended. Otherwise you’ll hack yourself a hat. But hands are also capable of this work of course.

Now transfer your chocynut mixture to a bowl and incorporate ya yolks, orange rasp, cognac (or your preferred liquid, chatgpt does not recommend buttermilk) and brown sugar till its nice. The egg whites need to be mixed, so do that. But don’t go too far or you’ll make it dry. And we don’t want that do we, Patricia. Oh and don’t forget a sniff of salt and use a clean bowl. Use a spectacular spatula to spatle the white mass into the brown mass. Keep it airy!

Put the batter in the springform and bake your almighty creation for around 35 minutes. If you’re using a smaller pan it might be longer. Check with a pricker to see if its liquidy. You can do it, use your brains.

Carry out the cake with two mighty women. Now be patient and let it cool.
