The ESAC open bouldering competition is starting this May!
One week filled with 40 amazing boulders to be topped on ESAC's boulder wall in the SSC open to everyone with an SSC sportscard.
The qualifications will start off with a kick-off event on Wednesday evening and will end with an amazing final event for all 3 categories including PRIZES!!
Dates:
Kick-off: Wednesday 4 May at 19:30
Qualification: 1 week from Wednesday 4 May until 10 May (all day long)
Finals: 11th May at 19:30, also open for non-finalists to watch (if you have sportscard)
Categories: 4-6a (beginners) & 6a-7a (medium) & 6c-8a (pro)
You will log the boulders you climbed on your own. A poster with a QR code to this sheet will be put up during the week of qualifications. (so please be honest in this :) )
A total amount of points is given for each boulder problem, these points will be divided among all climbers who succesfully top the boulder.
Flashing a boulder will result in 11% more points awarded for the top.
Finalists will be contacted on Tuesday evening 10th of May!
All participants need a valid SSC sportscard.
