Come join us on Sunday at 20:00 (on the ESAC Discord) to watch one of the films of your choice.
Since we couldn't choose ourselves, the AC has a few movies to offer. Not the faintest idea what kind of movies they are? Don't worry, we've listed them below for you.
So grab some popcorn and something to drink and sit down with your friends! (as long as the regulations allow it)
- 14 peaks: Nothing Is Impossible: Fearless Nepali mountaineer Nimsdai Purja embarks on a seemingly impossible quest to summit all 14 of the world's 8,000-meter peaks in seven months.
- The Alpinist: Marc-André Leclerc climbs alone, far from the limelight. The free-spirited 23-year-old makes some of the boldest solo ascents in history. With no cameras and no margin for error, Leclerc's approach is the essence of solo adventure.
- Ice age: Well, this movie needs no introduction I guess :)
- Everest: The story of New Zealand's Robert "Rob" Edwin Hall, who on May 10, 1996, together with Scott Fischer, teamed up on a joint expedition to ascend Mount Everest.
- The Bucket List: Two terminally ill men escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to-dos before they die.
- L’ascension: A young man from the suburbs with no mountaineering experience decides to climb Mt Everest to show a woman he'd do anything for her.
- Point Break: A young FBI agent infiltrates an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes he suspects of masterminding a string of unprecedented, sophisticated corporate heists.
