The first SP weekend of the autumn will be in Mozet, one of Belgium's medium-sized limestone crags. Despite its south-facing orientation, this crag is located in the Mâle Plume forest and thus offers a nice shade for climbing in the potentially sunny weekends of September.
Having a nice spread of grades, we expect Mozet to be a nice location for the first-time singlepithcers who’ll attend the weekend!
As a fun fact, the forest is owned by the Solvay family. If the name doesn t ring a bell, i got u: Ernst Solvay was a pioneer of Belgian alpinism and you may have heard of the Solvay Hut on Matterhorn.
Also keep in mind that this is a weekend in Belgium thus a klimjaarkaart is required to climb.
