If you want to sign up as a member, you need a subscription for the Student Sports Center in Eindhoven. The contribution is €30 per year (regardless of the membership type, besides the honorary members), paid around September, at the beginning of each academic year (or shortly after joining). It is collected by the treasurer after sending an invoice, you do not have to transfer the money yourself before the invoice is sent to you. Membership types
(Ordinary) Member
This is what you are when you sign up for ESAC. You are member as long as you have a valid sports card. You can then join committees, vote at GMMs (General Members Meetings) and join all activities. You are also entitled to a discount at Neoliet and you can climb for free on Mondays at Neoliet South. For this you need a sticker with the current year on your Neoliet pass, which you can get on Mondays at Neoliet South or from a board member. More about these discounts can be found here.
Extraordinary Participant
If you don’t have a sports card but you are in a committee, you become an extraordinary participant. Since you don’t have a sports card, you cannot get a sticker for your Neoliet pass (and thus you do not get the discounts) and you cannot use the SSC facilities. You also cannot vote at GMMs, but you can join those meetings and other activities which do not take place at the SSC.
Reunist
If you don’t have a sports card and you are not in a committee, you become a reunist. This happens if you ask the secretary to do it or if you forget to renew the SSC subscription and do not do it after the secretary reminds you.

Member of Merit
A person can be nominated by 5 other members or extraordinary participants to become a member of merit. It can happen at any GMM and is voted on. A person can become a member of merit for 5 years and it cannot be extended afterwards.
Honorary Member
Only the 3 founders of the ESAC are honorary members. They do not pay contribution.
