On thursday the 13th of june, Bas Visccher will provide a lecture about his adventures in high alpine terrain. From first-ascents in the Alps, to expeditions in Peru and China.
Bas is a highly experienced Alpine climber, with many years of experience as sports climbing and alpine instructor, and as a coach of the NKBV expedition academy.
The following aspects will be covered in the lecture: Bas's career to become an experienced alpine climber, expeditions on different continents, the ups and downs you go through along the way, team Alpine Adventures, and more.
Entrance is free and the lecture will be held in Auditorium, lecture room 4. The lecture will be in Dutch, so be ware of this. Please join your fellow climbing buddies afterwards on a small drink at Hubble to catch your breath on all this Alpine goodness.
